Writing

an introduction, against my better judgment

I opened a blog. I am already sorry, and I am not sorry at all.

I am a programmer. I am, I think, a stubborn programmer. For five years I have built apps that must never drop a message, and meanwhile I have dropped every one of my own thoughts, unwritten, out of a kind of pride. Why write, I told myself, when the code already says everything?

It does not. Code says what. It never says what it cost.

So here is a blog. You laugh, gentlemen. No, you are right to laugh. Who opens a blog in 2026? Someone, in short, who needs to tell somebody.

I promise nothing. I will post rarely, then three times in one week, then apologise. I will be wrong in public. I will correct myself in the next paragraph, and then, I know myself, I will correct the correction.

But I have begun. And that, gentlemen, is the worst part over.
